Man arrested for raping 13-yr-old house help

Police arrested a man in Fatullah of Narayanganj on Monday night, on charge of raping a 13-year-old domestic help.

SM Salauddin, 68, was held from his residence, said Fatullah Police Station Sub-Inspector Fazlul Haque.

The girl was sent to a local hospital for medical test, said the SI, adding that a case was filed with the police station against Salauddin.

Citing the case, SI Fazlul said Salauddin had been raping the domestic help for three years. “Salauddin confessed to the offense under section 164 at court,“ said the police officer.
