Model UN confce begins at CU today

A three-day model United Nations Conference will begin at Chittagong University for the first time today.

The Daily Star is the media partner of the event organised by Chittagong University Model United Nations (CUMUNA).

Vice Chancellor Prof Anwarul Azim Arif will inaugurate it around 9:30am in the BBA faculty auditorium, where 250 delegates from different institutions at home and aboard will participate.

Encouraging youths to acquire creativity and leadership skills, and solving critical problems through negotiations is the aim of the conference, the theme of which is "Empowering youths for green diplomacy", said CUMUNA President Shahariaz Muttakin.
