The 18th convocation of North South University (NSU) was held at its Bashundhara campus in the capital on Friday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid presided over the ceremony and conferred degrees to 2,034 graduates while Prof Randy L Beutler, president of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, delivered the convocation speech.

Among others, Prof AK Azad Chowdhury, UGC chairman, as the special guest; Benajir Ahmed, BOT chairman; and Prof Amin Sarkar, NSU vice chancellor, were present at the programme.
