Obituary

Artist and freelance journalist Rajeshwari Priyoranjini, daughter of freedom fighter Ferdousi Priyabhashini, died due to throat cancer on Thursday at a hospital in India. She was 39.

Rajeshwari was a contributor to Bangla dailies and magazines including Ittefaq, Ajker Kagoj, Bhorer Kagoj, Prothom Alo, Anondo Alo, Charbela, Canvas, and Anannya.

She will be buried today in Azimpur graveyard of the capital after the Zohr prayers.
