Prof Faruque’s death anniversary

The 20th death anniversary of Prof Mohammed Faruque, former chairman of Bengali department of Jahangirnagar University and Karachi University, will be observed today, says a press release.

His family members will arrange a daylong programme including Qurankhwani and doa mahil at mosque. Besides, food will be distributed among the destitute at orphanages.

All of his relatives, friends, well-wishers and students have been requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
