Rab, Coast Guard in Ctg get new rescue boats

Relief and Disaster Management Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya yesterday handed over a new Rough Aquatic Sea Search and Rescue Boat to Rapid Action Battalion-7 and three others to Bangladesh Coast Guard in Chittagong to prevent crimes in the Bay of Bengal.

At a ceremony at Coast Guard Base in Ichhanagar, 12 small boats were also handed over to the representatives of district administrations of Chittagong, Feni, Lakshmipur, Noakhali, Barisal, Bhola, Pirojpur, Patuakhali, Barguna, Bagerhat, Satkhira and Khulna.
