RU applied physics students announce class boycott
Students of applied physics and electronic engineering (APEE) of Rajshahi University will start an indefinite boycott of classes and exams today, demanding conversion of their discipline department into electrical and electronics engineering (EEE).
Over 300 students staged protests for the third day yesterday and made the announcement, opposing the plan to launch the EEE department separately. They say the curricula of the two disciplines overlap a great deal, so a separate EEE department is unnecessary.
