Ruet celebrates its 12th founding anniversary

Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology yesterday celebrated its 12th founding anniversary with a vow to establish a violence free campus.

Vice Chancellor Prof Md Rafiqul Alam Beg inaugurated the programme at 9:00am. All the buildings were decorated with colorful lights.

At a discussion at the university gymnasium centre, the VC urged the students to play a greater role in promoting the spirit of the Liberation War and free thinking.

Earlier in the morning, the university authorities launched a month long tree plantation  programme.
