Sust probe body formed over Sunday's accident

The authorities of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) have formed a committee to investigate Sunday's road accident near the campus that killed two people instantly, said Proctor Prof Kamruzzaman Chowdhury.

Prof Ariful Islam, head of the mechanical engineering department of Sust, while driving his car hit the persons with his driver sitting beside him, campus sources said.

Jalalabad police Officer-in-Charge Akhter Hossain told The Daily Star that Ariful along with his family had been on the run since the accident.
