Three 'JMB men' held with 'crude bombs' in Rajshahi

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested three members of banned militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahideen, Bangladesh (JMB) with crude bombs from a mango orchard in Rajshahi's Bagmara Upazila yesterday.

The arrestees are Aminur Rahman of Gopalganj, Abu Sayeed Manik of Mymenshing, and Shahenshah of Chandpur.

"The trio were plotting subversive activities, targeting the March 7 events," claimed ASP Alake Biswas of Rab-5 in Rajshahi.  

Rab also seized 16 crude bombs, 7 petrol bombs and 8 Jihadi books from their possession.
