BGB destroys drugs

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) destroyed 7,756 bottles of Indian phensidyl, 327 bottles of liquor, 950 grams of cannabis, 433 grams of heroin, 43,580 ampoules of sedative injection in Naogaon district town yesterday. The border guards in separate drives seized the drugs worth about Tk 76.50 lakh from different areas in the district for the last 10 months, said Lt Col Zahid Hasan, commanding officer of BGB-43 Battalion.
