BNP leader arrested

Police arrested a BNP leader in Borhanuddin upazila of the district on Sunday night. The arrestee was identified as Sarwar Uddin Khan, joint secretary of the upazila unit of BNP. On secret information, a police team raided the house of Sarwar and arrested him at night. He was arrested in a case filed for torching a bus during the blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
