Boy electrocuted

A minor boy was electrocuted near Ukilpara Mahila Madrasa Road in Bhola municipality yesterday. The deceased is Md Nayem, 12, son of Monirul Islam of the area, and student of Class III of Dakkhin Bhola Government Primary School. Police and locals said Nayem came in contact with a live electric wire while he was cutting a branch of a rain tree around 1:00pm. He was rushed to Bhola Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
