Criminal held with pistol

Police arrested a criminal along with a pistol and two bullets from Bypass Road in Benapole early yesterday. 

The arrestee was identified as Sweet Hossain, 26, son of Kabir Hossain of Talsari village under Benapole Port Police Station.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided Kabir's house at the village at around 1:30am arrested Sweet. They seized the pistol and bullets.

Police said Sweet was wanted in several cases, including one for murder.
