Ex-Shibir leader held

Police arrested a former leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir from Newmarket area of the town on Wednesday night. The arrestee, Mosharraf Hossain, was a former president of Shibir's district unit. Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a police team arrested Mosharraf in connection with subversive activities.
