Female hall named after Sheikh Hasina

Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur has named an under-construction 10-storey dormitory for female students as Sheikh Hasina Hall.

The University Senate decided to name the hall after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a meeting on Saturday.

Vice-Chancellor Dr AKM Nur-Un-Nabi chaired the first ever meeting of the Senate after its founding  seven years ago.
