Housewife murdered

A housewife was killed by her husband at Lebutala village in Jessore Sadar upazila on Tuesday night. 
The victim was identified as Parvina Khatun, 30, wife of Momtaj Uddin of the village. 
Officer-in-Charge Shikder Akkas Ali of Sadar Police Station quoted locals as saying that Momtaj hit his wife with an iron rod following an altercation over a family feud. She was taken Jessore Medical College Hospital where she died soon after admission.
