Kid drowns in canal

A seven-year-old boy drowned in a canal at Shiyali village in Dhunat upazila of the district yesterday morning. The deceased is Arman Ahmed, son of Saddam Hossian of the village. Police said Arman went to catch fish in the canal near their house and drowned. Officer-in-Charge of Dhunat Police Station Ziaur Rahman confirmed the incident.
