Man held with pistol

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a man with a pistol, a bullet and two magazines in Ramsagar area under Sadar upazila on Monday afternoon. The arrestee is Md Nuruzzaman, 40, son of late Mofiz Uddin Kabiraj of Tajpur Mondolpara village. Acting on a tip-off, the elite force raided the area at around 4:00pm and arrested Mofiz with the firearm and bullet, said Major Mahmud, commander of Rab-13. A case was filed in this connection.
