Party men assault BNP leader

Rival party men allegedly assaulted office secretary of the district unit of BNP Md Johurul Islam yesterday.

They also vandalised his office in the town .

A gang of 30/35 led by Dr Ahmed Mostafa Noman, president of Doctors Association of Bangladesh (Dab), Pabna unit, carried out the attack, alleged Johurul.

Refuting the allegation, Noman said JCD men might have led the attack.

Taslim Hasan Sweet, secretary of the district unit of JCD, refuted the allegation.
