Schoolgirl commits 'suicide'

A schoolgirl allegedly committed suicide at Dhormogram village in Atghoria upazila on Friday.  The deceased was identified as Rupa Khatun, 15, daughter of Rafikul Islam of Chandpur village. Police said the ninth grader went out of the house on Friday evening following an altercation with her family members. Later, she took her life by hanging herself from a tree inside a graveyard in the area. On information, police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
