Woman arrested with Yaba

Police arrested a woman with 200 Yaba tablets at her house at Sahebnagar village in Ishwarganj upazila of the district early yesterday. The arrestee is Shamsun Nahar Ruma, 35, wife of Oliur Rahman of Sahebnagar. Police said, the couple was involved in drug trading in the area for long. On information, the law enforcers raided the house and arrested Ruma with the Yaba tablets. However, Oliur managed to flee the scene, sensing the presence of police. A case was filed in this connection.
