‘83’ trailer: Ranveer Singh portrays Kapil Dev in exciting biopic

The trailer for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer "83" has been released today.

The 3 minute 49 second trailer showcases Ranveer Singh as former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev and follows their victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

The trailer highlights the Indian team's journey, their struggles, their wins, and their losses. Deepika Padukone makes an appearance in the trailer as Romi, Kapil Dev's wife.

The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree, and Pankaj Tripathi.

"83" will be released in cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The film will have its world premiere on 15 December at Saudi Arabia's Red Sea International Film Festival. The biopic is scheduled to hit theatres on 24 December.
