Bidya Sinha Mim engaged

Popular model-turned actor Bidya Sinha Mim announced her engagement to long time partner, Soni Poddar. The actress announced the good news on her official Facebook fan page at around 9 pm, today.

"All of my smiles started with you 6 years back. Today is a very special day, today is the beginning of forever. A beginning of a new chapter. Finally Engaged," reads her post.

Today also marks the birthday of the "Amar Ache Jol" famed actress.

Mim is seen in the announcement in an elegant and embellished outfit, pairing her look with a marvellous diamond and emerald necklace and matching earrings, while the groom is seen to complement her in his black velvet tuxedo, in the photo post.

Best wishes and commemorations  started flooding her comment box soon after the photo post was shared.

The Lux Channel I Superstar (2007) started her career with legendary writer-filmmaker Humayun Ahmed's "Amar Ache Jol". She soon rose to fame with hits like "Amar Praner Priya", "Jonakir Alo" and "Taarkata". She has also managed to bag notable television projects over the years. 

The actress' much awaited film, "Poran", directed by Raihan Rafi, is set to release theatrically soon.
