Film to be made on the life of Bir Protik Taramon Bibi

A film will be made on the life of Taramon Bibi, who was one of the two female freedom fighters in Bangladesh achieving the Bir Protik title.

She was involved in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 as direct combat, as a member of the guerrilla force Mukti Bahini.

Her role will be portrayed by Tanha Tasnia.

 "To understand her personality, I have been trying to collect all the resources that are available, and researching a while on the articles and books written on her." She also mentioned that the shooting of the film will begin in December.

Aminur Islam Liton is the director of the film, who is to be guided by consulting director and eminent cultural personality, Nasir Uddin Yousuff.
