‘Hall owners and young moviegoers are calling us for ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’
Abdullah Mohammad Saad's much-awaited film "Rehana Maryam Noor" will be released in 12 cinema halls across the country on November 12.
Ehsanul Haque, the executive producer of the movie, confirmed the news about the halls to The Daily Star.
"Till now, we have confirmed 12 halls across the country and we will soon publish the list of halls in our official Facebook page," mentions the producer.
"Hall owners and young moviegoers are calling us for 'Rehana Maryam Noor'. They are curious about whether the movie will be released in their respective cities. We are trying our best to release the movie across as many halls as we can," adds Ehsanul Haque.
Azmeri Haque Badhon is quite excited about the release of the movie.
"I am really overwhelmed with all the positive responses that I am getting for the movie.I will try to watch the movie in cinema halls with the audience," adds the actress.
"Rehana Maryam Noor" already garnered international acclaim at the 74th Cannes Film Festival, with its hard-hitting concept. The movie, which was featured in the "Un Certain Regard" section received a standing ovation, during its premiere at Cannes.
It is Abdullah Mohammad Saad's second feature film. The movie reached another milestone with its selection for the Debate section of the 65th British Film Institute of London Film Festival.
