I am spending the best time with my mother: Jaya Ahsan

Celebrated actress Jaya Ahsan recently went to London for a vacation. She has been roaming around the multicultural city, with her mother. In a conversation with The Daily Star, she talked about her observation on the Bangladeshi community of London, her recent works, and more.

How is your trip with your mother going?

I am spending the best days of my life, as I am getting to spend it with my mother.

Having no work is relaxing, and I am really enjoying it.

Where in London are you residing?

We are staying at my brother's place. Since the pandemic had hit, we could not visit, and now it is amazing to get to meet after such a long time.

Will you be participating any cultural programme arranged by the Bengali community in London?

Not really. I am off from work until the time I get back. I will attend family functions, and I intend to give all of my time to them.
 

You have been spotted at the London Tea Exchange. What made you go there?

I went there with my mother, on invitation. The speaker of Tower Hamlet Council also attended the event among others. It was an incredible experience of tasting some of the rarest teas in the world! I pay my gratitude towards the people who created the opportunity for me.
