New members of Director’s Guild sworn in

Recently, Director's Guild—the largest organisation of theatre directors in the country—have completed their elections. On Sunday, the new elected members were sworn in at the The Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mohila Samity.

Ananta Hira has been elected as the President, while SM Kamruzzaman Sagar was appointed as the new General Secretary of the Director's Guild.

Kaisar Ahmed, Manoj Sen Gupto and Ashraful Alam Rantu were elected as vice-presidents of the organization, while Rasheda Aktar Lajuk and Firoz Khan were elected Joint General Secretaries,

Shamim Reza Juwel was elected the Organising Secretary; Abu Raihan Juwel as The Finance Secretary; Jahir Khan as the Publicity and Publication Secretary; Shuvro Khan as the Training and Archive Affairs Secretary; Sobuj Khan as the Information and Technology Affairs Secretary; Tarik Mohammad Hasan as the Law and Welfare Secretary and Saidur Rahman was elected as the Office Secretary.

Besides those mentioned above, seven executive members were also appointed through this election. They include S M Shahidul Islam Runu, Gazi Apel Mahmud, Din Mohammad Montu, Nasir Uddin Masud, Firoj Ahmed Dulal, Shahin Mahmud and Syed Awlad.
