‘Nona Joler Kabbo’ to hit theatres on November 26

Rezwan Shahriar Sumit directorial film, "Nona Joler Kabbo" (The Salt in Our Waters), has earned accolades internationally in several festivals including the screening in the United Nation's Climate Change Conference (COP26), Busan International Film Festival, London International Film Festival, and Kolkata International Film Festival.

The film will hit theatres countrywide on November 26. A premiere show of the film will be held at STAR Cineplex, on November 25. "Nona Joler Kabbo" features eminent actor Fazlur Rahman Babu, alongside actor Shatabdi Wadud. It also stars actors Titas Zia, and Tasnova Tamanna among others.

Shayan Chowdhury Arnob has directed the music for the film.

"The plot of the film portrays the daily lives and livelihood of the fishermen of coastal areas. The story highlights their struggle of survival while dealing with the adverse weather conditions," says the director.

He also informs that a reflection of the social customs and culture of the fishermen are also one of the focuses of this movie.

The film has been appreciated after the screenings in International film festivals including London, Busan, and Kolkata.

Nona Joler Kabbo will be on display in STAR Cineplex, Blockbuster cinema, and Cinemascope.
