Noted actor Mahmud Sajjad in ICU

Noted actor Mahmud Sajjad is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

M Hamid, the actor's brother, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. "Sajjad was admitted to Evercare Hospital upon testing positive for Covid-19 on September 1. When his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to the ICU. Eventually, my brother tested negative for the virus. However, he was admitted to the ICU again due to post Covid-19 complications," he mentioned. 

M Hamid asked for prayers for his brothers from their well-wishers, and the fraternity. 

Mahmud Sajjad made his acting debut with renowned director Zahir Raihan's film, "Sangsar". His other notable films include Khan Ataur Rahman's "Jhorer Pakhi",  "Apon Por", and Aziz Azhar's "Chokher Joley", among many others.
