Nusrat Jahan blessed with a baby boy

Bengali actor turned TMC MP Nusrat Jahan welcomed her first child, a baby boy, earlier today. She was admitted to Neotia Hospital in Kolkata last night (August 25).

After being admitted to the hospital, Nusrat Jahan shared a new post this morning. She wrote, "Faith Over Fear #positivity #morningvibesmany (sic)."

Nusrat tied the knot with businessman Nikhil Jain in Turkey in a private wedding ceremony on June 19, 2019, after dating him for a while. Earlier this year, she revealed that her wedding with Nikhil was not valid under Indian laws in a statement. In June, Nusrat shared a seven-point statement where she alleged that her belongings, such as family jewellery and several other assets, have been "illegally held back". She also alleged that her funds from various accounts were "mishandled" without her knowledge.

According to reports, Nikhil has conveyed his best wishes for the baby boy. Nusrat and Nikhil have been separated since November 2020.
