Rakhi Sawant receives death threats for supporting Salman Khan

Arts & Entertainment Desk

Rakhi Sawant is one of Salman Khan's biggest fans. This is quite apparent when you notice the number of times Rakhi has spoken out in favour of the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actor.

However, Rakhi being outspoken in support for Salman has seemingly landed her in a spot of trouble, mostly after she voiced her support for Salman in the situation involving the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who had sent death threats to Salman. This is the same gang who killed Sidhu Moosewala. While speaking to the media, Rakhi Sawant revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi's gang had sent an email, threatening her, warning her to stay away from Salman.

On her Instagram, Rakhi Sawant shared a video where she is seen talking to the media. In the video, she reads the threat she received via email out loud for the reporters. The email read as follows, "Next time, we will kill infront of security. This is the last warning for you Rakhi." The actress told the media that this email was sent by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. However, Rakhi clarified she would not be filing a police complaint.

Later, speaking to ETimes, Rakhi said, "They're saying if you talk about Salman Khan, we'll kill you. But I'll speak about Salman Khan because he helped my mother when she was unwell. He spent Rs 50 lakh to try to save my mother from cancer. Why shouldn't I speak? They shot Sidhu Moosewala. People walk in candle marches and cry after someone's death. Shouldn't we take a stand when a person is alive?"
