‘Drug peddler’ killed in ‘gunfight’

A suspected drug peddler was killed in a “gunfight” with Rapid Action Battalion in Narayanganj early yesterday. The dead -- Hridoy alias Gittu Hridoy, 30, of Sonargaon upazila -- was accused in at least 15 arms and drug cases, said Rab. Three people were also arrested during the shootout, in Changrakandi area of the upazila.
