EU opposes death penalty
A killer must be taken to justice and get punishment as per the law of the country, even if that punishment is death penalty.
Personally I oppose death penalty because, I strongly believe, the government is to protect life and not to destroy it whatever crime an offender may have committed. Death penalty is the ultimate indignity to the offender and to the government that executes it. It is inhuman, uncivilised and unacceptable by any human norm.
