Police arrested an alleged member of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) at Bamonitola village of Atrai upazila in the district on Thursday evening. The arrestee was identified as Hamidul Haque Babu, 38. At least three criminal cases were filed against Babu with Atrai Police Station in 2006 and 2007. Police yesterday produced Babu before the court while the court sent him to jail.
