Domestic help stabbed to death, driver arrested

The police arrested a car driver on charges of stabbing a domestic help to death at a house in the city's Gulshan area yesterday afternoon. The driver, Habibur Rahman, tried to violate domestic help Sakhina, 35. As the woman tried to resist the driver, he dragged her into a washroom of the house and stabbed her to death, the police said. Sakhina worked as domestic help in the house of Younusuzzaman, a businessman, at Road No. 16 in Gulshan-1. Habibur is the driver of the businessman's car. On receiving information, the police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College hospital for autopsy.
