My TV journalist killed
My TV Khulna bureau chief Hasan Dhali was kidnapped from his office on August 9 by unidentified criminals and killed in Munshiganj.
Louhajang police recovered the body from a ditch under the upazila on Thursday morning and recognised him by seeing the identity card in his possession.
The body of the slain journalist was supposed to be brought from Munshiganj yesterday evening.
Officer-in-Charge Fakhrul Islam of Daulatpur Police Station said Hasan's wife Jharna filed a general diary on August 11 in connection with kidnapping of her husband.
Jhanra said Hasan could not be contacted over his cell phone after his abduction.
The OC said a gang of four kidnappers came to Khulna on August 8 to carry out the killing mission.
Hasan hailed from Sardardanga village under Daulatpur police station in Khulna. He also served as chairman of Islami-E-Com BD Insurance Company, Khulna branch.
