Jubo League man shot in clash over control of scooter stand
At least one person received bullet injuries during a factional clash of Jubo League over establishing supremacy at the Muktarpur Scooter Stand under Sadar upazila of the district yesterday evening.
The injured was identified as Delwar Hossain, 30, a local Jubo League activist.
Family sources said Delwar, who was shot in the leg, is undergoing treatment.
Police said the clash occurred between Jubo League leader Imran Hossain and Delwar Hossain over establishing supremacy at the Muktarpur scooter stand and sharing of extorted money from the place.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahidul Islam of Sadar Police Station confirmed the incident.
