Man found dead in Naogaon
Police recovered the body of a dead man from a ditch at Ramraipur village under Mohadebpur upazila in Naogaon yesterday noon.
The deceased was identified as Enamul Haque, 45, son of Bajor Uddin Pramanik of the area.
Police said locals informed them of a body inside a sack in a ditch near Bindirampur Primary School, a few yards away from the victim's house at around 9:00am.
Police suspect unidentified criminals killed the man and dumped the body there on Thursday night.
Law enforcers recovered the body and sent it for autopsy at Sadar Hospital morgue.
Aslam Hossain, sub inspector (SI) of Mohadebpur Police Station, said several injury marks were found on the body. Reason behind the killing could not be known immediately, he added.
