Trader crushed to death under train's wheel
A cloth trader was crushed under the wheels of a running train at Bogra Railway station yesterday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Jalil, 60, a resident of Brindabanpara area in the town.
Railway sources said a Santahar-bound Bogra Express train from Lalmoniorhat ran over Jalil at 4:00pm as he could not remove his mobile shop from the rail track timely.
Jalil and some other traders used to sell goods by setting up mobile shops on the rail track illegally.
