Dr Mahboob receives US fellowship
Dr Mahboob Ali, professor of Cardiology, National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) received the prestigious American Fellowship in Coronary Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) recently, says a press release yesterday.
He is the first cardiologist in Bangladesh to receive the fellowship.
Prof Ali also received the fellowship of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) in Atlanta, USA last year.
He has performed over 10,000 procedures, angiogram and stenting in last 15 years and has over 100 publications of articles.
Prof Mahboob has presented papers at over 20 countries and chaired in different occasions.
He is also working as the secretary general of Bangladesh Society of Interventional Cardiology.
