Five injured in clash over control of a fish market

At least five people were injured in a clash between two groups of people over control of the fish market at Hatirpool Kitchen Market in the city last night. Officer-in-Charge of Shahbagh Police Station Rezaul Karim said two groups-- one led by Alamgir and another by Harun--ransacked the fish containers and looted fish of the rival groups and locked in a clash around 9:00pm. The injured were admitted to a local hospital. After the clash, general traders were staging demonstrations till filing of this report at 11:00pm protesting the incident.
