BCL activists assault JCD leader

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists assaulted a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader in front of Public Library yesterday. The victim was identified as Mohammad Khokon Sikder, an Assistant General Secretary of Suryasen Hall unit of JCD. Campus sources said a group of BCL activists numbering 20-25 armed with rod and hockey sticks swooped on Khokon at 3:00pm. Khokon was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
