Discussion on vested property act in next JS session Says state minister
State Minister for Land Advocate Mustafizur Rahman here yesterday said there would be a discussion in the next session of parliament about vested property act to settle the issue.
He was addressing a discussion on Janmastami organised by Chandra Protap Baishwa Kapali Kalyan Samity marking the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna at Bainna village under Dhamrai upazila of the district.
Local lawmaker Benzir Ahmed was present on the occasion as the special guest with Samity President Sudhir Chowdhury in the chair.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Khadiza Naznin, local Awami League leaders Abdul Malek, Abul Hossain, Shawkat Hossain Santu, Dhaka Zila Chhatra League General Secretary Siraj Uddin, Dr Sukumar Sarkar and Nirmal Chandra Sen attended the discussion.
Advocate Mustafiz said Lord Krishna is a symbol against injustice and evil forces and his ideology works as inspiration toward establishing peace and harmony in the society.
He also urged all to work together for establishing a secular, modern and prosperous Bangladesh imbued with the ideals of Lord Krishna.
