Heroin worth Tk 1cr seized from train
Heroin worth around Tk 1crore was seized from an inter-city train in Joypurhat yesterday.
No one could be arrested in this connection according to Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) sources.
Sources said a team of Rab 5, acting on a tip off, raided Rubsha Express, a Khulna bound intercity train, as the train arrived at Joypurhat station at 12:30pm and recovered at least 940 grammes of heroin from a toilet of the train.
Alamgir Hossain, commanding officer of Joypurhat Rab 5, confirmed the recovery.
