Law and order normal across country: Tuku
State Minister for Home Shamsul Haque Tuku yesterday claimed that the law and order situation remains good across the country, as top suspected war criminals are now detained and others are under close surveillance.
Tuku made the remark while talking to reporters at his secretariat office.
He said those who were involved in the Bangabandhu killing and opposed the War of Liberation, are trying to create obstacles in trying war criminals.
Tuku said the investigation agency is carrying out their investigation neutrally.
Those found involved in crimes against humanity after completion of the investigation will be brought to justice, the state minister said.
“Nobody will be spared, whoever he is, found involved in the crimes against humanity,” he said.
