Production at Ashuganj fertiliser factory suspended

Production at Ashuganj Fertiliser and Chemical Company Limited remained suspended since yesterday morning due to some mechanical faults at its Urea plant. Officials said they are working hard to resume production as soon as possible after repairing the plant. Production capacity of the factory is 1600 metric tons and at present it produces 1400 metric tons fertilizer per day.
