Two electrocuted
Two persons were electrocuted at Sadullapur and Fulchari upazila in Gaibandha yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Sabu Mia, 20, of Baro Jamalpur village in Sadullapur, and Salim Mia, 22, of Panatipara village in Fulchari.
Locals said Sabu went to spray insecticide in his paddy field where he came in contact with a live power supply line around 7:00am and died on the spot.
Salim Mia came contact with a live wire attached to a tree while he was chopping off branches near his abode around 11:00am. He met an instant death. The victim's bodies were sent to Gaibandha Sadar for autopsy.
