Seven shops gutted in fire
A devastating fire burnt seven shops to ashes at Kuti Bus Stand Bazar under Kasba Upazila of the district at 1:15 am yesterday.
According to locals and fire fighter sources, the fire originating from an electric short circuit engulfed seven shops of the market at a time and damaged properties of Tk 15 lakh to ashes.
On information, the fire fighter men of Kasba Kuti Fire Service and Civil Defense rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze after fighting for an hour.
