Fakir opens dental unit at Mymensingh Medical College
A separate Dental unit was opened in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) yesterday to provide necessary treatment of dental diseases in the district.
State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Captain (Retd) Mujibur Rahman Fakir MP formally inaugurated the unit.
The state minister said the present government is committed to reach health care services to the doorsteps of the people and urged the doctors to work sincerely and honestly for implementing this goal.
MMCH Director said this dental unit will provide advance treatment of the dental diseases. The unit has been setup with 20 beds, 10 each for male and female dental patients. Treatment at the unit began yesterday.
MMCH Director Brig. General Shajahan, Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) Principal Prof Aminul Haque, Bangladesh Medical Association President Dr AKM Rafiqul Haque, Secretary Dr Matiur Rahman Bhuiyan, Civil Surgeon Amzad Ali, MMC teachers and hospital officials were present at the inauguration.
